The Rocket Hits Top Gear Once Again

Rocket Rob had a nightmare passage when flashing home for second at Windsor five days earlier and went off the same mark here. Given his usual patient ride, he began to hit top gear from halfway and found a lovely gap to run through passing the furlong pole. He soon put the race to bed thereafter and everything went his way this time. His attitude was spot-on when asked to win the race and while a likely reaction from the handicapper will make his life plenty harder, further improvement is not ruled out yet.
