under a powerful ride from Jamie Spencer showed plenty of durability on his third race in eight days to wipe Simon Callaghan's name off the cold trainers' list.

Callaghan and the Rathmoy Stable’s team had gone 24 days and 33 runs without a winner and will no doubt receive a pat on the back from father Neville, who joint owns the horse with Bill Hinge and John Searchfield.

Searchfield said: "He's a tough and progressive sort - tougher than I gave him credit for - and he takes his racing really. The Callaghans have always loved this horse and he came well recommended."
