Cool Art Proves Too Hot For Rivals!
16th September 2008
Cool Art proved too hot for his rivals, as he defied top weight to land the Tote Super Seven Nursery at Lingfield earlier today (16th September)
Ridden by Jimmy Fortune, the two year-old One Cool Cat colt tracked the leaders travelling well, before being pulled out over a furlong out and ran on well to score by a neck to the Peter Winkworth trained On The Feather.
Cool Art is joint owned by Matthew Green, and Simon's father, Neville Callaghan who was there to cheer the victory. After the race Neville said “We have always thought he was better than this. Maybe he is still learning but I am very pleased he has now won two races and hopefully he'll go on.”
