Kinigi appreciated the return to 7 furlongs on her nursery debut at Southwell and handled the fibresand well to take the lead in the final furlong. Jamie Spencer, who has a 33% strike-rate on Simon Callaghan's two year olds, gave Kinigi a great ride managing to hold off Le Petit Vigier and bring her home to victory.
