Aeroplane flies to the finish line

Hayley Turner took Aeroplane from last to first place in the 7 furlong William Hill Handicap at Kempton. Following Bonus through at the cutaway in the straight, he found a lovely gap against the inside rail and was eased into the lead where he remained until the finish line. This is the second win for Aeroplane with Hayley on board, having won a similar race over this trip at Lingfield with another perfectly timed late run just before the New Year. Aeroplane looks likely to improve again when dropped back over 6 furlongs where the faster gallop will suit.
