Morning Sir Alan made all at a fair gallop, with O´Dwyer sticking to the plan of trying to nick a few lengths out of his rivals at some point. He achieved that around the final bend, and was always in charge from then on. Though the winner has had races snatched away from him in the past, this first success confirmed that this is a good way to ride him.
