Art Excellence was not given a hard time on debut and should have learned quite a bit from the experience. He is a 32,000gns half-brother to Dignify, a dual 7f-1m winner at two, who was later fourth in the Italian Oaks. |

ART EXCELLENCE drifted over from stall five to grab the early lead, kicked clear early in the straight and had enough left to hang on from several finishers. He shaped with promise when 9-2 in a 7f Redcar maiden and has found improvement to take this contest. He is a half-brother to Dignify, a dual 7f winner at two who was later fourth in the Italian Oaks. He should continue to progress and seems to have plenty of natural pace, so could prove equally effective at 7f at this early stage of his career.
