She is rated 5lb inferior to that rival, but was conceding her 7lb so it was a tough ask. Having raced prominently in the far-side group she refused to give in without a fight and proved her Lowther run to be no fluke. A maiden would be hers for the taking in the coming weeks and she proved well suited by this extra distance.

After leading early, she settled just behind the leader and then went on again running into the Dip. For a few moments it looked as though she would hold on, but the winner swept past up the hill. She has already earned black type and has picked up more than three times her yearling price, so owes connections nothing. She is in the December sales, but could possibly go with her trainer when he moves to the USA.
