Where abouts were you born and raised?
Bastwa, near Jodphur, India

What was your first job in racing?
I worked as a groom and rider back in 1984

If you didn’t work in racing, what do you think you would do?
I’d like to run my own business, not sure what though

Did you ride professionally, back in the day?
No

What is your most memorable moment in racing?
I looked after and led up the winner of the Morratha race in Dubai in 1997

Where’s your favourite holiday destination?
France, because I believe that Paris is the most beautiful city in the world

What type of music do you listen to most?
Old Indian songs

What websites do you visit regularly?
I don’t use the internet

Favourite all-time horse
Exhibition, I look after him and he has such a good attitude in the box

What do you do with your spare time?
Watch television, and catch up with my friends
